Making a Difference in the Lives of Student-Athletes
The UC Riverside Highlander Club is the fundraising and social component of the UCR Athletics Department. Through our fundraising efforts and the generous donations of alumni, family and friends, we provide the financial support that enables UCR Athletics to offer an excellent educational experience to more than 200 exceptional student-athletes.

Scholarships to UC Riverside provide the opportunity for a student-athlete to get a preeminent college education while pursuing their dream of playing Division I college athletics. In 2005-06, UCR distributed $1,857,113 in funds to 196 student-athletes, an average of $9,475, with a significant amount of these funds coming from generous donations from people just like you.
We Need Your Help
Achieving athletic excellence is a team effort. Financial support from alumni, parents, friends, and former athletes gives our student athletes the competitive edge they need to realize their dreams. Campus resources, regardless of their quality and abundance, are not sufficient to achieve the vision of Highlander Athletics. Therefore, private and alternative sources are required to meet our mission.
